Lauren N. Turner, Esq., a native Floridian, started her career in the construction industry in 2007 as a project coordinator for a prominent general contractor and remained in the industry therein. She gradually progressed through the ranks, working in marketing, estimating and preconstruction for several major South Florida General Contractors, until her acceptance into the Florida Bar in 2016, where she maintained a focus on construction litigation and relevant subject matter.

Ms. Turner received her Juris Doctorate from Nova University‘s Shepard Broad School of Law in 2015, holds a Masters in Criminal Justice from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Additionally, Lauren served under the Broward County Public Defender in 2015 in an internship within the juvenile felony division.

Lauren has been practicing in high volume litigation since her entrance into the Florida bar and now exclusively focuses those talents towards construction law, including construction tort and contract claims, construction defects, construction lien claims and defense, civil litigation and post-judgment practice in the state court system. As the newest associate of Stearns, Roberts and Guttentag, she endeavors to obtain a certification in construction law and to combine her knowledge of the construction industry with her strong background in litigation. 

Outside of the legal arena, Lauren exerts a charitable passion for animals as the Principal of POPO Pitbulls, serving as General Counsel for the Miami Coalition against Breed Specific Legislation and as a member of Pets Broward. She also remains active with her law school alma mater, serving as a bar coach for law students, a requested panel speaker and as a judge for mock trials.
